　　优点：手感比较柔软，耐碱和高温，洗涤温度可以达到 80℃ 以上。缺点：水收缩的程度比较大，所以纯棉布草在使用水洗机洗涤时容易出现褶皱。?注意：颜色比较深或者混色的纯棉布草洗涤时温度不能过高，否则容易出现掉色的情况。如何辨别：在一块棉布截断时，拉出一根线来，断处的纤维松散不齐，浸湿后的强度与干燥强度相同，甚至大于干燥状态强度。棉质品燃烧很快，产生黄色焰火、蓝焰，与纸制品燃烧的气味相同。灰烬少且细软，呈灰色。

　　优点：捏后却无褶皱、摸起来比较滑手、洗涤比较方便，污渍容易去除，用家用洗涤剂或者洗衣房专用洗涤剂都可去除。缺点：怕受热。注意：化纤又分为很多种类，一般清洗温度在 20 ~ 40℃ 。洗涤剂最好是粉类或者液体，尽量不要使用肥皂。要使用清水脱洗干净，否则容易出现泛黄发硬等情况。化纤布草被烘干以后，应晾晒在通风处，但不可长时间进行暴晒。如何辨别：用打火机点燃抽下来的纱，点燃后烧一两秒再吹灭，如果手捏之后硬邦邦，说明是化纤面料。
